These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ApplyBolt ("ApplyBolt", "we", "us", or "our") and the website and application located at https://applybolt.io (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You may use the Service only if you are at least 13 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
2. Account registration
To use ApplyBolt, you must create an account using an email address or third party authentication. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
- All activity under your account
- Providing accurate and current information
3. Plans, billing, and subscriptions
ApplyBolt may offer free and paid plans (such as Free, Standard, and Pro). By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us and our payment processor (Stripe) to charge the applicable fees to your selected payment method.
- Fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
- You may cancel at any time; payments already made are non-refundable except where required by law
- Pricing and plan features may change with reasonable notice
4. Use of the Service
You may use ApplyBolt only for managing your personal job search.
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Reverse engineer or extract source code
- Resell or provide the Service as a competing product
- Use AI features to generate unlawful, deceptive, or misleading content
5. Gmail integration
If you connect Gmail, you grant ApplyBolt read-only access via Google OAuth solely to:
- Detect job-related emails
- Create or update job records
ApplyBolt will not:
- Send email on your behalf
- Use Gmail data for ads or marketing
- Transfer Gmail data except as required to provide the Service under confidentiality
You may revoke Gmail access at any time. Our use complies with Google's API Services User Data Policy.
6. Intellectual property
ApplyBolt, including its design, features, and content (excluding your own data), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal job search purposes.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of the content and data you add to ApplyBolt (such as job targets, notes, and labels). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display this content as necessary to operate the Service.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if:
- You violate these Terms
- Your use poses a security or legal risk to us or other users
- We discontinue the Service
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease. We may retain certain data as described in our Privacy Policy or as required by law.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE."
ApplyBolt is a productivity and organizational tool only and does not guarantee interviews, job offers, employment, or responses from employers.
We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApplyBolt is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
Total liability will not exceed the amount you paid in the three months prior to the claim (or USD $0 for free users).
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes will be handled in California courts where permitted by law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
